Made from a reclaimed saw mill blade,L6 grade tool steel most likely. 

 This is NOT a cu mai blade, copper actually transferred to the steel while it was in the forge and is now one with the steel. Coffee etch makes it black and brings out the copper

San mai skinner/chopper $275

Here’s a little slicer/chopper/skinner I made recently 

This is a San mai hand forged blade , made from 1084 and 15n20 high carbon steel. It was forged along side some cu mai billets I was making and the copper in the forge jumped onto the  blade during forging 

 Neat little 3 finger handle blade , with a short tiger wood handle.
